Eastern Pacific Shipping: A Four-Year Commitment to Sulnox Eco

Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) - one of the world’s largest privately-owned shipping - began with an eight month evaluation of Sulnox Eco across tankers, bulk carriers, vehicle carriers and chartered container ships.

Fuel types included HSFO, VLSFO, B30 and B100 biofuels.

The results convinced them to adopt across 30+ vessels, and make a strategic investment in Sulnox.

Now, with more than two years of deployment, they've committed to a four-year deal across 50+ vessels, and increased their investment in the company.

Consistent results include:

  • Improved fuel performance, with 3-5% savings

  • Cleaner engines, reduced carbon deposits and sludge generation

  • Lower emissions, including lower CO₂ and significant reductions in black smoke, supporting compliance and sustainability goals

Alongside specific benefits for biofuels, including:

  • Comparable fuel savings to those achieved with conventional fuels, helping offset the higher cost of biofuel use

  • Improved fuel stability, lubricity and engine cleanliness, indicated by operational experience and independent testing

All for zero capex.

[Our] partnership with Sulnox is a significant step towards achieving EPS’s long-term sustainability objectives...enhancing our operational efficiency and reinforcing our commitment to meeting global environmental standards
