Sulnox highly commended twice at Britcham Singapore Awards

Sulnox Group Plc, the greentech company delivering lower fuel costs and emissions with zero capex, has been highly commended in two categories at the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore's 2026 awards.

The Company received recognition in both the Sustainability Champion of the Year and UK Impact in Singapore categories, reflecting its growing contribution to maritime decarbonisation and the strength of its commercial and strategic relationships in Singapore.

The awards recognise businesses demonstrating outstanding achievement in sustainability and in strengthening economic ties between the UK and Singapore.

Central to Sulnox's success is its partnership with Singapore-headquartered Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS), one of the world's largest privately owned shipping companies.

Following extensive operational evaluation of Sulnox Eco™, EPS has reported consistent fuel savings of 3–5%, alongside reduced visible black smoke, cleaner engines and lower sludge generation.

In June 2026, the partnership expanded through a landmark four-year agreement covering approximately 1.2 million litres of Sulnox Eco, extending deployment from around 30 to more than 50 vessels. The agreement is the largest in Sulnox's history.

The relationship extends beyond commercial supply. EPS Ventures is also a strategic investor in Sulnox, holding a 10.83% stake as of July 2026, while supporting technical validation, product development and introductions to other major shipping operators.

The partnership demonstrates how British-developed technology, combined with Singapore's maritime expertise, investment and international reach, can deliver measurable environmental and commercial benefits.

Sulnox Eco is also manufactured in Singapore through Nouryon, further strengthening the Company's links with the local economy.

Sulnox has been a member of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore for three years and has participated actively in its sustainability initiatives and the wider maritime community, including Singapore Maritime Week.

Ben Richardson, CEO of Sulnox, commented:

"To be highly commended in both categories is a tremendous endorsement of what we are achieving with our partners in Singapore.

"Our relationship with Eastern Pacific Shipping demonstrates how British innovation and Singapore's maritime leadership can work together to deliver real, measurable improvements in fuel efficiency and emissions today.

"These awards recognise not only the progress we have made, but also the enormous opportunity ahead as we continue to expand the adoption of our technology across global shipping."
