The board of the directors of the Company is pleased to announce the forthcoming appointment as a non-executive director of Lord Nicholas Fairfax. Lord Fairfax is expected to be appointed at the board meeting that is scheduled for the afternoon of 7 September 2021.
Lord Fairfax qualified as a barrister in 1977 and then has worked over the last 40 years in the specialist area of Protection & Indemnity insurance within the shipping and marine world. He has also served for 15 years, until 2020, as a senior executive with the SCF Group, one of the world’s largest tanker shipping companies. He has a wide understanding of the many issues faced by the shipping industry.
Since 2015, he has been an Elected Hereditary Peer Member of the House of Lords and continues to be so. At SulNOx, he will serve as a Non-Executive Director, and will provide an important link between the shipping world and the “state of the art” green technologies of The SulNOx Group
Lord Fairfax said, “I am very enthusiastic and excited to join the SulNOx board at the start of this period of significant growth potential. From what I have already seen of the SulNOx products, it is clear that we can make an immediate impact to an industry in great need of cost and emission reductions.”
